“When you lose one member, figure out how you\’re going to get two more members.” – Robert Plank

If you’re stuck creating your first membership site or your membership site isn’t going the way you’d hoped, maybe you need some course correction. If that’s the case then I’m the guy you need to listen to and fix a few things in your membership site.
What should you fix? First of all, don’t announce something until you have it ready, schedule before and after post and get two new members for every one member you lose. What does it mean to only announce something if you have it ready?
Think about a company like Microsoft. They will announce the next version of Windows two or three years before it will be ready. At that point, they’d barely worked on it at all. Then what happens is they’re not very clear about what new things are going to be in that version of Windows because they have not created it yet. They end up changing the name and pushing the date back.
This is important. You might have seen some Internet marketers launch products and keep pushing the launch date back further and further and the reason for this is because they don’t have the product ready yet.
Have your product ready first and then start promoting it. Even have the first version of your product ready, start promoting it then add additions to it later on. But definitely only announce something if you could launch it tomorrow if you had to. This avoids you spending all your time and all your energy on the promotion and then had nothing to show for it. This way, you have something to show and it will launch on time no matter what.
Next, schedule before and after post. What are before and after post? If you were to post some kind of new video for your site, tell people the day before what the video will be about or what they need to know before seeing the video or even what kind of question they should have in mind.
For example, if you’re telling somebody in the video about why it’s important to have an affiliate program, the day before ask them, “Do you have an affiliate program? If you have an affiliate program, what would be the offer? What would be your commission? What would be the recurring commission?” This way, they’re prepared when the real concept comes on the line.
Finally, you’re always going to have drop outs in your membership site. It’s just going to happen. When you lose one member, figure out how you’re going to get two more members. If you see one person drop out, think about – are you going to send a new email? Are you going to conduct a new guest interview? Are you going to buy ad space? How are you going to replace not just the member who dropped out of your membership site but get a brand new second member as well?
Those are my quick membership site pointers for you. Only announce something if it’s somewhat ready, if you could launch it tomorrow if you had to, schedule before and after post for important contents so they’re prepared for the post and they could review that post, and get two new members for every one member you lose.

Okay in all honestly there is no secret society article underground. There is no backroom place where people meet and write articles. For the most part everyday ordinary people who are trying to build their online business are the ones creating the articles you come across on the internet. Why are articles so critical and will they continue to be a considerable part of online business. Over the next several minutes we will go over the benefits of article marketing. Both applying articles on your website, and also the advantages of submitting articles to sites for other people to use on their sites.
Articles are an amazingly powerful tool when it comes to online marketing. This is especially true if you are brand new to online marketing or internet business in general. Writing and submitting articles is a low cost quick way to get highly targeted visitors to your website. In all honesty even the pros use articles everyday to drive more people to their sites.
Consider the fact that right now you are reading an article. If you find this advise useful you are going to click the link at the bottom to access more information. This article is material for you and other readers, but it is also content. New content on your website is going to attract readers to visit your site often to see what new information you have provided. Having brand new content on your site keeps your site fresh and up to date.
In this age of search engine optimization and page rank, search engines are searching for content. They are looking for unique content, but they are also looking for websites with useful appropriate content. This is why using articles is so effective. Maybe you do not have all night to come up with unique content for your website. By using other people’s articles you are continually adding content to your website. By providing original articles you will get back links to your website.
If you are like most of us, there is the full time job, and then there is the family. Most of us do not have a lot of time to write articles. So what then, if articles are so crucial how can you get fresh content for your website? How can you get the benefits of articles without actually writing articles?
The answer is simple and extremely effective. There are services out there called ghost writers. These are skilled writers who can be hired to write articles. Typically for a ghost writer you are going to pay about ten bucks an article. You might be thinking wow, this can get very expensive very rapidly. So you need an back up plan that is not going to cost you a small fortune. What if there was a service out there that sent you literally hundreds of articles each month?

“Do you have an insight on business? You might vlog about some of the mistakes you\’ve made in business and how to avoid them. ” – Andrew Mulligan
List building is an activity that successful internet marketers do every day. Adding people to your list results in all sorts of good things happening such as prospects for affiliate programs, customers, sales and repeat sales if you build it the right way. Are there shortcuts to building a great list to market to? No, but there are tried and true methods for adding people to your lists if you know where to look.
The one method I favor is what I call the piggyback list building method. You can take other people’s lists, borrow them and use them to build your own. Most people use this as a supplemental way to add people to their lists but it can also be used as a primary means of email marketing. One of the most commonly used lists that people borrow to build op-tin lists is safelists. Safelists are great but do have their limitations: Some are small and not great quality. You can get around this by using the services of a ranking service. With the huge number out there, you can often shop and even get great deals on solo ads that cover a huge number of safelist members you can get to in one email marketing mailing.
Ezines are the second most commonly used method of accomplishing piggyback list building and are well suited for this purpose. Many ezines are targeted to a specific group and offer a great opportunity to build an op-tin list from people who are looking for what you have to offer. The problem with these is it can be expensive to run a solo ad although you may find some that offer cheaper ad options.
List builders are the superior method of using piggyback list building and are great because they have a proven success rate in people who sign up from your email marketing mailings. List builders often run specials on their memberships and offer great value in their advertising. If you use them on a regular basis, you will notice that you will get a steady response rate which can be useful in planning an ad campaign particularly for affiliate marketing programs. They get my top recommendation for piggyback list building because they deliver and are totally reliable.
The trick with piggyback list building is to use email marketing mailings to mail to someone else’s list, get a decent response rate, and continue to add subscribers to your own list and to keep growing it at a steady pace. Once you start getting subscribers this way, you should nurture your relationship with them and give them something of value to keep them on your list. Smart internet marketers know the money is in the list, so make the commitment to grow yours and maintain it.
