Neil Shearing told me about this, I’ve tried it, I’m giving it the thumbs up. And the best thing is, it’s free.
The software is called the “Real Link Finder” and it helps you find on-topic blog posts that *don’t* use “nofollow”… so the links you get from leaving comments count towards your link popularity and PageRank scores.
(the higher your PageRank and linkpopularity, the higher your pages will rank in the search engines and the more traffic you’ll get)
You can then post some useful comments on these blogs and get a link back to your own site/blog.
*note: It will not post any comments for you – you have to do this yourself. Done correctly, this will give your site/blog a boost in traffic as well as backlinks.
The other alternative is to manually search for them via Google. I’d prefer the lazy method
