I hope everyone had a wonderful day. I had a great day. I spent a lot of time in my rose garden. Now they are all nice and tidy. I love my garden because the flowers just simply make me happy.
Any way, let’s get back to the subject shall we?
Since I gave you a lot of freebies, with many different rights in it, maybe you’re wondering what they really mean?
There are nearly a dozen terms thrown about as if everyone knows what they mean. Problem is, plenty of people don’t know what they mean – and that includes some of the marketers who are selling rights to their products! So I suggest you to read your rights license; so that you understand how your product can or cannot be used.
You will usually see a license like this:
[YES] Can be given away.
[YES] Can be packaged.
[YES] Can be offered as a bonus.
[YES] Can be added to paid membership sites
[YES] Can be added to free membership sites
[YES] Can be offered through auction sites
[YES] Can sell Resale Rights
[YES] Can sell Master Resale Rights
[NO] Can Be Edited Completely and Your Name Put on it.
[NO] Can be used as web, blog, newsletter content
[NO] Can be broken down into smaller articles
[NO] Can be used for eCourse or autoresponder series
[NO] Can sell Private Label Rights
Or you will see PLR, MRR or Resell Rights within the eBook give away or selling adverting. You will have some kind of idea about what these short words means, after you read the example license above. Now let’s go for the details:
PLR – Private Label Rights
If you get private label resell rights (PLR) to a product that means you get the right to sell the product to your customers and the right to modify the product.
But there are two different types in this case too.
First, if you get the original source file (e.g., Word document or txt file) then you can modify the products, as you needed. You can even change 25% to 50% of the contents and create a new product with your name as the author/creator of the product.
Second, check your PLR license very carefully, as not all PLR is created equally:
· Some PLR licenses allow you to create an entirely different product into different form like videos, audios or e-courses, while others not.
· Some PLR licenses allow you to resell the PLR to others, while others not.
· Some PLR licenses have very strict guidelines about how many percentage of your product must be changed before you can put your name on it, while others don’t define it.
So Bottom line: check your license carefully before you do anything with it.
Now for MRR- Master Resale Rights
If you get master resell rights to a product that means you can sell the product, the resell rights or master resell rights to your customers to make money… and your customers can do exactly the same.
For example, you sell a lose weight eBook to a customer who needs it. You can also sell the eBook with resell rights or master resell rights to the eBook to marketers for a higher price.
So the first customer will use the book only. But the second marketers will have the same rights as you do. They can sell the product in the same way as you did.
Like I said before, just check your license very car fully before you do anything.

When I first bought my online business it came with over 2000 products with varying level of rights. I have to say my confusion knew no bounds at this stage and I had absolutely no idea what I could or could not do with any or all of these.
Most people are confused about the difference between Resell Rights and Private Label Rights. Many think they are one and the same and it is easy to understand how the actual titles can be misinterpreted and people think they can do what they like with the products but this is not so. Let us look at them individually starting with Resell Rights.
Resell Rights
Basically, if you have a product with Resell Rights then you have the right to resell the product but ONLY in accordance with the Terms and Conditions that will be outlined in the license you get with each product. This normally means that you cannot alter or edit the product in any way nor can you put your name to it as the author or owner of the product. You must use it as you got it but it is a good way to give value to your lists. This is particularly useful if you have a qualified list and can offer them much sought after products in their niche.
You may also see some products that come with Master Resell Rights. Whilst Resell Rights give you the right to resell the product, Master Resell Rights allow you to resell the product and the resell rights! Again, it is very easy to see how both these terms can be confused with each other. My way around it has always been to aim for those products that come with Private Label Rights.
Private Label Rights(PLR)
Private Label Right products allow you to have your own product without actually having to create one yourself. The licenses that come with PLR products are normally much more lenient that Resell or Master Resell Rights.
You will normally be able to edit and alter the product as you wish and put your name or your company’s name on the product as the author. What I tend to do is to break the product down into several different products, perhaps create a series of autoresponder messages using it, make a video or audio recording that teaches other people how to do certain things. There are so many options available with PLR products.
I have some products that offer me two options – Resell rights and Private Label Rights. I can and have used my PLR products and sold the resell rights to others after I changed the product and put my name on it.

Using private label rights membership products is a very popular trend right now. Using it makes populating email auto responders with content easier than if there were no PLR available. If you are a busy internet marketer, they let you get low cost content that you use where you want to. They also change the task of creating new content from a humongous time sucking difficulty into an easy stroll in the park. These are all good reasons for you to buy private label rights products.
But are there any excellent reasons for using PLR products? Yes there are. A big one is so that you can quickly re-use and sell the products. This is how PLR products help; they take you from wondering about a product to owning a product that you can sell in the blink of an eye.
Consider that when you use a private label rights product, you will already have hours of research already done for you. All you would really need to do is re-purpose it, and you can either do this yourself or outsource it, and it will cost you less to do it this way than if you were to have your products composed from scratch.
One thing you want to be careful of with private label rights products are buying them without knowing how many times that product is to be re-sold. You want to avoid getting PLR products that everybody on the planet also has. Purchasing PLR that is already vastly owned will benefit you little. So make sure that even though you are getting good PLR products that you keep minimal levels of exclusivity in the content you purchase.
If you are always looking for content, you might consider joining a PLR membership site. Here, PLR materials are delivered to you on a regular basis, depending upon how often the site makes it available. The advantage of joining a membership site is that you can expect to have materials delivered to you with certain quality standards built in. You see when you go all over the internet looking for PLR products by yourself, you will not know what it is you are getting, and if the quality of it is inferior after you have purchased then it will be just too bad for you.
